In a major drug bust, Kempegowda International Airport Customs officials apprehended a foreign national at Kempegowda International Airport with capsules containing approximately 2 kg of cocaine, valued at crores in the illicit drug market.

The accused arrived in Bengaluru from Addis Ababa on an Ethiopia Airlines flight.

Suspicion arose when customs officials observed the individual’s unusual walking style and apparent stomach discomfort. Swift action led to the detention, medical examination, and surgical recovery of over 48 capsules from the individual’s stomach.
