Dakshina Kannada BJP protests, demands CM’s resignation over MUDA case

Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district BJP held a protest near PVS, Mangaluru, on Tuesday, September 24, demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after the High Court dismissed his plea challenging the Governor’s sanction for prosecution in the MUDA case.
Participating in the protest, MLAs D. Vedavyas Kamath, Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty, Harish Poonja, and Bhagirathi Murulya urged the Chief Minister to resign immediately. They also called for a CBI investigation into the case.
BJP district vice-president Ravindra Shetty, general secretaries Premanand Shetty and Yatheesh Arva, vice-president Pooja Pai, Yuva Morcha president Nandan Mallya, Mahila Morcha president Dr. Manjula Rao, OBC Morcha president Mahesh Jogi, Mayor Manoj Kumar K, and Deputy Mayor Bhanumathi were among those who took part in the protest.
