The vote counting process for the Legislative Council by-election from the Dakshina Kannada local authority constituency has concluded, confirming a straightforward victory for BJP candidate Kishor Kumar Botyadi.

The election took place on October 21 following the resignation of Kota Srinivas Poojari, and the results were announced today, October 24.

Kishore Kumar Botyadi has secured a significant lead over Congress candidate Raju Poojari, with the official announcement of the results pending.
