Dakshina Kannada Celebrates Mosaru Kudike with Great Enthusiasm

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district witnessed grand celebrations of the Mosaru Kudike festival on Tuesday. Various organizations, including youth groups and cultural committees, organized festivities across the region.
The Attavara Sarvajanika Shri Krishna Jayantyotsava Committee hosted the district’s oldest Mosaru Kudike festival, marking its 115th year. Similarly, the Kadri Shri Krishna Janma Mahotsava Committee conducted the 55th edition of the Mosaru Kudike festival.
Mosaru Kudike festivities, processions, and religious programs took place in different areas like Kottara, Dwarkanagar, Urwa, and Kavoor with vibrant displays of devotion. Several locations also featured cultural events, and streets were decorated festively. Traffic was rerouted to accommodate the celebrations, and the streets were bustling with large crowds, creating a fair-like atmosphere.
