Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K.V. said that his phone has been hacked and mposters were misusing his credentials to demand money from public. The DC requested the public not to send money to the fraudsters who are misusing his name.
It has been noticed that some unidentified persons are sending messages through WhatsApp using the phone number 8590710748 impersonating the DC. They are using Dr. Rajendra KV’s photograph and name on their profile.
The DC appealed to the public not to send money to this number (8590710748) or any others that ask for money in his name.
If anyone gets messages asking for money in his name, the DC advised to block such number and report such number to the administration.
