Dakshina Kannada Unrest: HD Deve Gowda Urges BJP, Congress to Act with Responsibility

Bengaluru/Mangaluru: JDS national president HD Deve Gowda blamed both Congress Party and BJP for their stand on the situation in communal violence hit Dakshina Kannada district. JDS supremo urged the both parties to work to maintain peace and security in Dakshina Kannada as the situation in the region turned hyper sensitive after a series of unpleasant incidents shook the region in the last two months.

Deve Gowda urged both BJP and Congress to act with responsibility to prevent unpleasant incidents in the future. Speaking on his party’s move on the issue, he said his JDS will organise a peace meeting and rally in Dakshina Kannada soon.
