Dalai Lama addresses Tibetan colony at Uttara Kannada

Karwar: Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama was accorded a rousing welcome upon his visit to Mundgod Tibetan settlement in Uttara Kannada on December 12. Dalai Lama had last visited the Tibetan settlement in December 2017.
Several of his followers lined up the streets leading to the Drepung Lache Monastery to greet the Tibetan spiritual leader. At the monastery Dalai Lama interacted with the elderly monks.
Later, he also briefly spoke about the need for scientific studies to be done along with spiritual studies.
Also present with the spiritual leader were Dr. Harish Kumar,
Deputy Commissioner; M Roshan, CEO, Zilla Panchayat; Dr. Eshwar Ullagaddi, Sirsi SDO and Shivaprakash Devaraju, Superintendent of Police.
