Dalai Lama to visit Mangaluru today

Mangaluru: The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama will be arriving in Mangaluru on Aug 29^th. He will reach Mangaluru International Airport at 12:20 pm in the afternoon and stay in the city.

On Aug 30^th, he will be participating in the Akhil Bharat Catholic School Association’s national convention to be held at Fr Muller’s hall. Later he will remain in the city and leave to Bengaluru at 7 am on Aug 31^st.

In the backdrop of the arrival of the Dalai Lama, widespread police cover throughout the city has been intensified. Recently, a preparation meeting was organized in this connection under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil.
