Dandeli: In a bizarre incident, an injured wild langur walked into a hospital in Dandeli of Uttara Kannada district, seeking treatment for its wounds.
The incident took place a few days ago and came to light after the video went on the social media platform.
In the video, the injured langur is seen standing at the entrance of the hospital. The uncertain hospital staff tried to shoo away the langur, however, the people outside asked the doctors and nurses for medicines and bandages to treat it.
One among the crowd applied ointment on the langur which had multiple injuries possibly by fighting with another langur. To their surprise, the animal did not harm anyone and responded well to the treatment.
