Bengaluru: Is actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, who is in judicial custody in the Renukaswamy murder case, receiving luxurious treatment at Parappana Agrahara Jail? These questions have emerged following the release of a photo and video on Sunday (Aug 25).
In the viral photo, Darshan is seen sitting in a chair at the back of the jail’s video conference hall, holding a cigarette in one hand and a coffee cup in the other. He is accompanied by Nagaraj, the 11th accused in the case, rowdy-sheeter Wilson Nagaraj, and another individual.
Following the photo leak, a video surfaced on Instagram, showing Darshan with the same expression, conversing with one of his close associates.
This incident has posed a significant challenge to the police officers, jail authorities, and the Home Department investigating the case. The situation has already sparked widespread outrage on social media.
The authorities are now under pressure to investigate and verify the authenticity of the photo and video. This development has further complicated an already challenging case for the police department.
