Chikkamagaluru: Just as the controversy on cooking meat at the Datta Peeta is still afresh, another one has raised its head.

It is being alleged that namaz is being offered at the disputed cave shrine in contravention of the court orders. A purported video of the Namaz being offered has gone viral on social media.

The video claims that several individuals offered Namaz prayers in a cave at the disputed holy site.

As per the court order prayers, namaz, and worship of any kind are not allowed inside the cave, except by those performed by the Mujawar appointed by the district administration.

It is alleged that this order has been violated and Muslims are being allowed to hold Namaz at the cave shrine.
