Davanagere to host Vishwa Kannadigara Sammelana in 2018

Davanagere: Vishwa Kannadigara Sammelana (World Conference of Kannadigas) is very likely to be organised at Davanagere in Karnataka next year, said Davanagere District Incharge Minister SS Mallikarjun speaking to the press reporters here on Sunday. The event is expected to be organised at a cost of Rs 25 to Rs 30 crores.The chief secretary of Karnataka state has arrived at Davanagere and examined the area and facilities available to conduct such big event. Based on his overview, the secretary has informed that the programme would be conducted in Davanagere next year.
