M’luru: Debris piled up at Sulthan Bathery cleared after 3 years on Mayor’s instructions

Mangaluru: After years of neglect, the piled-up stones and mud in the Sulthan Bathery area have been finally cleared.
Responding to public complaints, Mangaluru Mayor Jayananda Anchan had directed the officials to immediately clear the debris of huge stones and mud heaped for the past 2-3 years popular tourist spot in Boloor, which falls under the jurisdiction of city corporation.
Accordingly, debris was cleared today. Mayor Jayananda Anchan visited the spot and oversaw the operation. Officers Naresh Shenoy, Manjunath and local leaders were present.
