‘Deccan circuit’ to connect various tourist destinations to come up soon, announces Min Yogeeshwara

Bengaluru: Tourism Minister CP Yogeeshwara on Tuesday announced the ‘Deccan circuit’ to fly tourists to various tourist destinations in the State.
The decision regarding this 3,000 kilometres-long aviation circuit was made in a meeting held with department officials and private stakeholders.
The circuit will connect Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, Bagalkot, Ballari, Bidar and Koppal and will be created under the public private partnership (PPP) model.
Yogeeshwara directed department officials to acquire land for the project from the respective district administrations.
Additionally, a decision to start water sports in KRS backwaters and improvement of the Venugopala Temple at a cost of Rs 1,450 crore was also made in the meeting.
