Chitradurga: Transport minister, Laxman Savadi on Monday apologized to Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) conductors and bus drivers as the state government could not disburse salaries to them before Dasara festival.

Addressing presspersons during his visit to Muruga Math here Savadi said, “Because of cash crunch faced by the KSRTC department there has been a delay in paying the salaries to the bus drivers and conductors. I am really sorry about it. The delay was considerable in case of Kalaburagi and Hubballi divisions.”

When questioned if the party leaders were sidelining Chief Minister he said, “BS Yediyurappa is an unquestionable leader of our party and there is no question of sidelining him in state politics.”
