Delegation led by Kota Srinivas Poojary meet BSY; urge to rename Mangaluru International Airport after Koti-Chennaya

Bengaluru: A delegation  led by Dakshina Kannada’s district-incharge-minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, along with the MLAs of Undivided Dakshina Kannada-Udupi district today met Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa.

They requested the Chief Minister to name the Mangaluru International Airport after the  Koti-Chennaya, twin cultural folk heroes.

Govt Chief Whip Sunil Kumar-Karkala, MLAs Rajesh Naik-Bantwala, Raghupati Bhat-Udupi, Sanjeev Mathandur-Puttur, Bharat Shetty-Mangaluru North, Vedavyas Kamath-Mangaluru South and Harish Punja-Beltangadi were also part of the delegation.
