Deralakatte: Physical education teacher killed in road accident

A 55-year-old man working as a physical education teacher at a private school died after a bike rammed into him near Deralakatte mosque here on Saturday, October 29.
The deceased, Ismail (55) was reportedly crossing the road when a speeding bike knocked him down. Ismail sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital but he died en route.
Ismail used to referee at state-level Kho Kho competitions and was the organizing secretary for Ullal taluk volleyball association.
Mangaluru south traffic police registered a case.
