Dereliction of duty: CCB inspector and head constable suspended

Bengaluru: On charges of dereliction of duty and demanding bribe T Sunil Kumar, city police commissioner has ordered the suspension of inspector and head constable of Organized Crime Squad of Central Crime Brach (CCB).
It is gathered that Inspector R Prakash and head constable Satish had visited the office of the fraudster company of Jayanagar called AIMMS which had cheated hundreds of people by asking them to invest hundreds of crores of rupees on the pretext of offering high interest rates and introduced themselves as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of CCB and said that a case of fraud is filed against the company and they need to give a bribe of Rs one crore to quash the case.
Doubting their credentials company owner alerted the city police commissioner, following which the both accused were suspended.
