Derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed, Muslim Justice Forum lodges complaint

Mangaluru: The Muslim Justice Forum on Monday lodged a complaint against the man at the Pandeshwar Police Station for uploading a video making derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed on Facebook.

The accused identified as Madhugiri Modi aka Atul Kumar.

Reportedly, Atul had posted a video on his Facebook account making wherein he can be seen using abusive language and making derogatory remarks against the Prophet.

In their complaint, the forum has asserted that the video was circulated on social media platforms to trigger Communal Hatred and disharmony in the region.

Muslim Justice Forum DK President Dr KS Amir Ahmed Thumbay, founder member Rafiuddin Kudroli, Secretary Wahab Kudroli, members Iqbal Samanige, Yusuf Ucchil, Imran Kudroli and others were present at the police station while filing the complaint.
