Devanahalli: Man stabs ex-girlfriend; attempts suicide

Devanahalli: A man in Devanahalli stabbed his ex-girlfriend after she got married to another man on Thursday, September 15.
The victim Sowmya (23) died on the way to the hospital. Meanwhile, the accused Subrahmanya who had also attempted suicide by consuming poison has been admitted to a private hospital. His condition is said to be critical.
It is said that Sowmya and Subrahmanya were working in a coffee shop in Bengaluru. They were both in love. A few months ago, Sowmya quit her job and also began ignoring Subrahmanya.
Recently, Sowmya got married to another man which angered Subrahamanya. On Thursday night, Subhramanya entered Sowmya’s house, stabbed her more than 20 times and ran away from the spot.
Neighbors who heard her screams took her to the hospital but she died on the way.
Subramanya too attempted suicide and has been admitted to a nearby hospital.
