Dharma Sansad in Dharmasthala, thousands to participate: MP Nalin

Mangaluru: “The preparation for Dharma Sansad is in full swing. Nearly 2000 Sadhus and saints have been arriving at Dharmasthala from Northern India. A special office have been opened to welcome these Sadhus and Saints at Mangaluru railway station,” said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel addressing media here on Saturday, September 1st.
“The two- day National Dharma Sansad – 2018 will be held on September 2 and 3 at Sri Rama Kshetra Mahasamsthanam, Dharmasthala,” informed the MP who is also the president of welcome committee Dharma Sansad.
“The Sadhus, Saints and Sharanas will be taken in a procession from Janardhana Temple to Sri Rama Kshetra Mahasamsthanam, Dharmasthala in a five chariots prepared for them on September 2nd. Lots of devotees have been expected from across the country for which special arrangement has been made to accommodate them, Sadhus and Saints. There will be over 1000 volunteers deployed for this event,” he explained.
“The stage is set for inauguration on September 3 where over 150 saints will be present in the dais. Event will be inaugurated by state chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, presided by Dr Veerendra Heggade, ministers Prakash Javadekar, D V Sadananda Gowda, former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and MP Shobha Karandlaje will grace the occasion,” informed Mr. Nalin.
