Dharma Sansad with peace and order – Police proves determination

Udupi: Managing the three-day Hindu Dharma Sansad and the Hindu Samajotsava organized on Sunday, district police joined hands with police personnel from neighbouring districts who were posted here and worked vigorously day and night to ensure that the event happens without any unappealing circumstances. Police were successful in maintaining peace and order throughout the programmes and the general public did not cause an unaccepted behaviour.

The police had organized well-planned parking of vehicles, controlled density of vehicles on roads, and redirected vehicles through inner roads during processions which moved on the main road. Traffic therefore was properly controlled.

On Sunday evening, vehical movement from the city to Indrali had been completely restricted. During the action, no untoward occurrences happened and Hindu Samajotsava turned out to be a win. Organisers of Hindu projects proudly lauded district superintendent of police, Dr Sanjeev M Patil, for using human resource in a right manner and handling the event so well for all the three days.

Police were area director of police, supported by home watchmen staff and volunteers from different Hindu associations in keeping up peace. Individuals who participated in the Samajotsava parade and activists guaranteed that peace and order were kept up all through
