Dharmasthala: Lord Baahubali’s 42nd Vardhantyutsava, Padabhisheka celebrated

Belthangady: In a grand celebration marking the 42nd Vardhantyutsavam of Lord Baahubali’s idol at Ratnagiri in Dharamsthala, the Padabhisheka ceremony took place on Friday, February 2.
On Thursday, religious rituals like Toran Muhurta, Vimana Shuddhi, Shodasha Kalashabhishek, Nandimangala were held from 4 pm.
Venerable Divyasagar Munimaharaja, Venerable Adisagar Munimaharaja, Venerable Nirdoshasagar Munimaharaja, and Kshullaka Nirvanasagara Maharaja were present.
Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D. Virendra Heggade, Hemavathi V. Heggade, D. Harshendra Kumar, D. Surendra Kumar, and Supriya Harshendra Kumar participated in the program.
Commencing at 8.30 am on Friday, a majestic Grand Agrodaka procession paved the way for the Padabhishekam of Lord Baahubali Swami. The ceremony included offerings with 216 Kalashas, Elan water, Ikshurasa milk, Kalkachurna Abhishekam (rice flour), Arashina, Chatushkona Kumbhabhishekam, Ashtagandha Abhishekam, Sandalwood Abhishekam, Purnakum. Bhabhishek, Mangalarati, and Mahashanthimantra.
Venerable Lalithakirthibhattarak Swamiji of Karkala Jain Math delivered an enlightening sermon during the celebration.
