Dharmasthala: Panchamahavaibhava pandal collapses

Belthangady: Five people were injured after the pandal of a stage set up at Dharmasthala on the occasion of Bahubali Mahamastakabhisheka came crashing down.

It is learnt that the Pandal installed for the massive stage set up for the conduction of Panchamahavaibhava on the occasion of the Mahamastakabhisheka came crashing down all of a sudden.  Volunteers and fire personnel are conducting rescue operation.

It is learnt that in the afternoon around 12:30 pm, most parts of the pandal made of metal sheets crashed down. When the pandal was falling, no programme was being conducted. Hence, a major mishap was averted, inform eyewitnesses.
