Dharmasthala temple authorities obtain restraining order on allegations

The City Civil Court of Bengaluru has issued a restraining order on the allegations made against Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, and his family members in relation to the Sowjanya rape case.

The case revolves around accusations made by Dr. Mahesh Shetty Timarodi, Jagadish, Prabha Belahongala, Somnath Naik, B.M. Bhatt, Vithal Gowda, and others against Veerendra Heggade, who filed a suit in the City Civil Court of Bangalore concerning the issue of false accusations.

The order prohibits the six individuals from making disparaging remarks about them in the media and on social networks.

Furthermore, the court has also directed the removal of derogatory content that has already been circulated or shared.
