Dharwad: Secretary of JSS Dr N Vajrakumar passes away

Dharwad: Secretary of the Janata Shikshana Samiti (JSS) Dharwad and Vice president of SDM educational institutions Dr. N. Vajrakumar passed away on Friday, September 2.

Dr. Vajrakumar was born on May 29, 1939, in Nandikur village in Udupi. After his MA from Pune university, he began his professional life as a lecturer. He served in JSS College as a lecturer and then as Principal before taking over as Secretary of JSS. He was instrumental in bringing the JSS under the protective ‘umbrella’ of the SDM group, the website of the JSS institute said.

Dr. Vajrakumar was also the main force in establishing a dental college, medical colleges, and hospitals under the SDM group.
