2.Avoid smoking and drinking as it can increase the likelihood of complications. It is one of the most vital things you can do to prevent these diseases.
3.Follow a food plan that includes all food groups, Vegetables, Fruits, Dairy, Protein and Whole grains.Limit foods that are high in bad fats and cholesterol. Drink plenty of water and other drinks that do not have sugar.
4.Physical activity can help to improve insulin sensitivity and is thought to have a host of other health benefits for the body.
5.Stress and diabetes do not mix. Excess stress can elevate blood sugar levels, find relief by sitting quietly for 15 minutes, meditating, or practicing yoga.
