‘Dighvijaya Rathayatra’ of Ayodhya Lord Sri Ram to enter Udupi on Nov 7

Udupi: The “Dighvijaya Rathayatra” of Lord Shri Ram of Ayodhya organized by Akhila Bharatiya Sant Samiti, will be entering the district on Monday, November 7.
The Rathyatra which was flagged off by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on October 5, will be entering the district at 10 AM on November 7 following a religious gathering at Santekatte.
Pejawar Mutt pontiff and Trustee of Ayodhya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji and Secretary of Akhila Bharatiya Sant Samiti Sri Shakti Shantananda Maharshi will be blessing and speaking during the occasion.
Veteran leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Dr. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat will be rendering his speech during the occasion.
Meanwhile, ‘Ksheerabhishekam’ will be offered to the idols of Lord Sri Ram, during which, the devotees will also be allowed to participate.
A procession from Santekatte to Uchila Sri Mahalakshmi Temple will be held. Later, Anna Prasadam will be served in the temple, read the press statement.
The “Dighvijaya Rathayatra” which began on October 5 has travelled to 27 states covering a stretch of 15,000 km in 60 days.
