Dilip Kumar issues clarification on tweet mistaking his brother for him

Mumbai: Celebrated veteran actor Dilip Kumar clarified in a tweet that the photo going viral shows his brother Aslam Khan receiving a plaque and not him. The photo also features his wife Saira Banu and music composer Lalit Pandit among others.

It was claimed by many that the seated person (Aslam Khan) in the photo was Dilip Kumar – who’s real name is Muhammad Yusuf Khan.

Earlier this month Dilip Kumar celebrated his 97th birthday and had tweeted a thank you message. The ace veteran actor’s official twitter account has become the constant source of news for his eager admirers.
