Dist Cong pays tribute to Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary

Mangaluru: On the 28th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Dakshina Kannada Congress Committee paid tribute to the latter at the District Congress office in the city.

Addressing the event former minister Ramanath Rai spoke about the contribution of Rajiv Gandhi to the nation and how he played a key role in the development of the country.

Parliamentary Secretary to Chief Minister and MLC Ivan D’souza, former MLA Shakuntala Shetty, party leaders Ibrahim Kodijal, Muhammed Monu, Suresh Ballal, B A Mohammed Haneef, Abbas Ali, KK Shahul Hameed, Shashidhar Hegde, Naveen D’souza, T K Sudheer and others were present.
