Dist Congress leaders stage pakoda protest against state, Centre govt

Shimoga: Alleging failure of BJP-led state and Central governments the Congress party leaders and workers staged a ‘pakoda protest on Saturday, October 19.

The leaders of the party made ‘pakodas’ and served them to the people at Shivappa Nayaka circle against rising unemployment and economic slowdown in the country.

The protestors raised slogans against the state and the Centre, alleging that the prevailing economic situation was resulting in job loss and poverty.
