District Youth Congress observes PM Modi’s birthday as ‘National Unemployment Day’

Mangaluru: District Youth Congress protested against the massive unemployment and celebrated PM’s birthday as National unemployment day near Clock Tower, Mangaluru on Friday September 17.

They also set-up ‘Modi tea stall’ and ‘Amit Shah pakoda stall’ near the Clock tower.

Former MLC Ivan D’Souza said that the Modi government had been “lying for the past seven years in the name of employment”. Hence, Modi’s birthday will be celebrated as ‘Unemployment Day’ nationwide.

District Youth Congress president Luqman Bantwal said that Modi should resign for making youths jobless.

Former MLA Ramanath Rai, Congress leader Shashidhar Hegde and others were present.
