Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar on Monday urged the general public to follow Covid-9 guidelines.
Ravi Kumar said that all must compulsorily wear masks in places like pubs, bars, restaurants, cinema halls, offices, buses, trains etc.
He said, “Senior citizens and those suffering from health problems are recommended to continue wearing masks in most indoor spaces. Also, those eligible for precautionary doses of the Covid-19 vaccine should get it as soon as possible. Those with respiratory problems and symptoms of Covid-19 infection should voluntarily get tested and based on the results, follow the covid-19 protocols. Moderate exercise, breathing exercises and meditation are suggested for good physical and mental health.”
“Public and social gatherings must be held outdoors in places with good ventilation. Labourers working in factories or other industrial establishments must practice physical distancing and wear masks,” he added.
