DK district admin releases district-specific lockdown guidelines

Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district administration has issued district-specific guidelines for the lockdown that has been extended till July 5.

Lockdown during weekdays will be relaxed between 7 am to 1 pm.

The weekend curfew will be from 7 pm on Friday till 7 am on Monday.

Night curfew will be throughout the week from 7 pm to 7 am.

All shops selling essential items such as groceries, meat, dairy products and food items will only be allowed to open during the lockdown relaxation period on weekdays along with independent liquor shops.

Parks and public grounds will be closed.

Taxis and autorickshaws can seat only two passengers. No bus service will be allowed.

All factories can work at their regular shift with 50 per cent employee capacity except garment factories which can operate with 30 per cent employee capacity.

Eyewear shops have also been allowed to open from 7 am to 1 pm on weekdays.
