The event is being organized with the collaboration of the Karnataka Government, district administration, AYUSH department, Dakshina Kannada AYUSH colleges, various departments, and yoga organizations.

The main event in the district will commence at 8 AM at the mini hall of Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall in Mangalore. Speaker U.T. Khader and District In-charge Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao will inaugurate the program, while MLA Vedavyas Kamath will preside over the event. As this year marks the tenth anniversary of International Yoga Day, extensive preparations have been made in the district, with an expected participation of 100,000 people. Schools, colleges, universities, yoga organizations, AYUSH college students, the public, police department, home guards, NCC, NSS units, Anganwadi, ASHA workers, government hostel students, and sports hostel students will all take part in the celebrations.
