DK: Orange alert announced for two days

Mangaluru: In the backdrop of possible heavy rains for the next two days in Dakshina Kannada district, the weather department has announced ‘Orange Alert’.
Incessant rain is being experienced throughout Dakshina Kannada district since the last two days and since more rain is expected for the next two days as well, the ‘Orange Alert’ has been announced.
Winds are also expected to be blowing at 40-50 kmph during the period and the sea has also turned violent.
