Bengaluru: Kusuma Hanumantrayappa, the widow of deceased IAS officer DK Ravi has given a scathing reply to the tweet by businessman and social activist Prashanth Sambargi.

Kusuma had joined the Congress in the presence of DK Shivakumar on Sunday, October 4. Sambargi tweeted the picture of the event and said, “Kusuma’s misfortune has now been transferred from DK Ravi to DK Shivakumar.”

Kusuma replied to Sambargi stating that you talk about my luck only to please someone. You are into committing character assassination without checking the facts around the person or event.

She added that there are ups and downs in everybody’s life. Should only women be subjected to such ridicule and mockery? Would you have said so about your mother or sister?

With such words, you have only showcased your mentality regarding women. Please continue thinking so. God bless you, she said.
