Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar participated in the Tulunada Kambala Thiruvailotsava, which commenced on Saturday under the auspices of the Vamanjoor Thiruvailu Guthu Sanku Poonja- Devu Poonja Jodukare Kambala Trust.
Addressing the gathering, he lauded Tulunadu as a sacred land, portraying a harmonious blend of diverse cultures and languages that serve as a model for the entire state. He commended the efforts of those involved in preserving and promoting Kambala, assuring full support from the government.
Former MLA Shakuntala Shetty, Thiruvailu Kambala Committee President Naveen Chandra Alva, Honorary President Mithun Rai, Working President Praveen Chandra Alva, along with notable figures like Inayat Ali, Padmaraj, Nitin Shetty, Rahul Naik, and others graced the event. Ganesh Rao, Founder President of Coastal Educational Institutions, inaugurated the gathering.
