DK Youth Congress President Mithun Rai’s suspension order revoked

Mangaluru: The National Youth Congress has revoked the suspension order of Mithun Rai, president, Dakshina Kannada (DK) district Youth Congress and has asked Mithun to continue in his position with immediate effect.

Earlier, show cause notice was served on 10 district presidents and eight state office bearers of Youth Congress asking them an explanation on their absence from the party meeting. As they did not reply to the notice, R Ravindradas, secretary of National Youth Congress served the suspension order on these youth Congress leaders on November 5.

Order revoked

Mithun Rai had been to Delhi to explain the reason to the national leaders of the party for non-participation in the said party meeting. Now the suspension order of Mithun Rai and three other office bearers has been revoked by the National Youth Congress.
