DK Youth Congress to hold torchlight procession against ruling BJP govt

Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada Youth Congress will hold a torchlight procession here on December 09.

The procession is held to bring about awareness of problems faced by people due to the inefficient government at the Centre.

The procession will start from Karavali Ustav ground and culminate at Bunts Hostel ground here.

Addressing the media, Youth Congress President Mithun Rai said that, Youth Congress will organize a campaign called “Bharatha Naraluthide”  to spread awareness among people and to condemn the BJP rule which has failed to meet its Election manifesto. The campaign will also protest against the Modi government for the demonitisation act.

He said that, KPCC President G Parameshwar, Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister Ramanath Rai, Food and civil supplies Minister U T Khader, MLC Ivan D’Souza,J R Lobo and Mohiuddin Bava will take part in the procession.
