DKShi’s family offer prayers at Kollur temple seeking his early release

Udupi: In the backdrop of Congress leader DK Shivakumars arrest in a money-laundering case, family members and followers of the former minister performed Chandika Homa at Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple to pray for his early release.
As Shivakumar happens to be in ED custody till September 13, the homa ritual was performed by placing his photograph.
District Congress leaders also participated in the Homa.
It is said that even Congress leader Lakshmi Hebbalkar had offered prayers to the Goddess seeking Shivakumar’s early release and has said that she will be offering Chandika Homa.
