Over 75,000 people have signed a petition to keep Jeff Bezos, founder, and CEO of Amazon in space and not let him return back to earth.

Jeff Bezos earlier this month announced that as Blue Origin, the rocket company he founded conducts the first human spaceflight, he would be going to space in July.

The announcement sparked memes and various fun discussions on social media.

The petition titled, “Do not allow Jeff Bezos to return to Earth” started by a user called Ric G, on change.org, a popular petition website. Over 75,000 people have now signed the petition, becoming one of the top-signed petitions on the website. The petition was started only two weeks ago.

The opening statement of the petition read, “Billionaire’s should not exist…on earth, or in space, but should they decide the latter they should stay there.”

Below are the few comments on why should one sign the petition.
