Bengaluru: In twin tweets, Minister for Medical Education K Sudhakar replied to the phone tapping accusation of KPCC president D K Shivakumar.

Sudhakar stated in the tweets: “Sri DK Shivakumar, do you remember when you were a minister in your coalition government, tapping the phones of 7 Swamijis, including the chief seers of mathas of Adichunchanagiri, Rambhapuri, Siddha Ganga, Sirigere Math and Suturu.

The case of tapping the phones of Swamijis is still ongoing. Our government is not so ridiculous to tap your phone. You crave publicity in all of your statements, so you should also state that while you were in power you did tap the phones the Swamijis.”

Shivakumar had earlier alleged that the State government is taping his phone as he has not been receiving any incoming calls since the morning of August 21.
