In this film, actor Ranveer Singh will be playing the lead role, taking over from Shah Rukh Khan, who starred in the previous two films.
The ‘Don’ series has been popular with Shah Rukh Khan playing the main character in the first two films, released five years apart.
Ranveer Singh’s casting as the lead generated a lot of excitement, much like when Shah Rukh Khan first took on the iconic role, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan in the 1978 film ‘Don’.
The shooting for ‘Don 3’ is scheduled to start in August. The movie is directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment.
