Don Cheadle joins cast of ‘Space Jam 2’

Los Angeles: “Avengers: Endgame” star Don Cheadle has boarded the cast of “Space Jam 2”.

The 54-year-old actor joins professional basketball player LeBron James and Sonequa Martin-Green in the sequel to the 1996 classic.

The details of his character are yet to be revealed, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Martin-Green, best known for starring in “The Walking Dead, will play the wife of James’ character.

The long-anticipated follow-up to the Michael Jordan-Bugs Bunny hit will be directed by Terence Nance. “Black Panther” helmer Ryan Coogler is attached to produce.

“Space Jam”was a live-action/animated film that mashed up Looney Tunes characters with basketball stars and aliens. Bugs Bunny is expected to return for the sequel.
