New Delhi: Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s (VHP) spokesperson Vijay Shankar Tiwari said that the VHP, which has begun a fundraising campaign across the country for the construction of the Ayodhya Shri Ram temple, will appeal to donations only to Hindu families.

Talking to reporters on the fundraising campaign, he said, “Workers will be visiting homes across the country to collect donations. However, they will not go to the homes of non-Hindus.”

“If non-Hindus voluntarily donate, we will accept it respectfully. The campaign will be conducted from January 15 till February 27. Due to Uttarakhand being a small State, the campaign will end there on February 5,” he added.
