Don’t give permission for New Year’s Eve celebration: pro-hindutva groups’ demand

Mangaluru: The pro-hindutva groups Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal have submitted a request to the police commissioner demanding not to give permission for New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec 31st as behind the guise of celebration, lewd dancing and drug abuse takes place.
It has come to the notice that DJ parties, lewd dancing and drug parties are being organized at various hotels, pus and public places. Permission should not be given to such programmes that all bars and pubs must be closed by night 11 pm, informs the submitted request.
