Madikeri: Sri Rama Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik on Monday urged people not to cast their votes for BJP if they fail to construct Ram Mandir.
Speaking to presspersons at Gonikoppal he said that BJP came to power in the 2014 elections based on the Hindutva agenda. However Ayodhya Ram Mandir seems to be the agenda of the BJP in forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, he said.
Speaking on the Sabarimala verdict he said that before taking any decisions on religious matters discussion with the religious leaders is must and only then the judgment should be given.
Commenting on Tipu Jayanthi celebrations he said that those who supported the celebration should first look back into the history of Tipu. Most of the Muslims are against Tipu Jayanthi, as a result, Tipu Jayanthi celebration will have a full stop next year. He also appreciated the Karnataka chief minister and the deputy chief minister of Karnataka for not attending the Tipu Jayanthi celebrations.
Sri Rama Sena office bearers Ganesh and Ashok Rai were present.
