DPUE publishes schedule for supplementary PUC exams; registrations to end on July 30

Bengaluru: The Department of Pre-University Education published the schedule for the supplementary PUC examinations to be held between August 19 and September 3.

Students who are not satisfied with the marks scored by them in the PUC-II results can opt to appear in this examination to improve their marks.

The registration for the examination will end on July 30.

Minister for Primary and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar informed that due to the KCET examination scheduled on August 28 and 29, the PU II supplementary examination will not be held on these days.

He also said that Deputy Chief Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan has assured that the department will increase the number of seats in the colleges to cater to the increased number of students passing the PUC examination.

The examination schedule:
19 August – Optional Kannada, Mathematics, Basic Maths
21 August – Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Arabic, French
23 August – Geography Psychology Physics
24 August – English
25 August – Accountancy Geology Education, Home Science, IT, Retail, Automobile, Healthcare
26 August – Political Science
27 August – History, Statistics
30 August – Economics
31 August – Urdu, Sanskrit
1 September – Karnataka Music, Hindustani Music, Sociology, Biology, Electronics, Computer Science
2 September – Logic, Business Studies, Chemistry
3 September – Hindi

The examination will be held in two sessions. The morning session will be from 10:15 AM to 1:30 PM and the noon session will be from 2:15 PM to 5:30 PM.
