Dr. Sandhya S Pai receives Shivaram Karanth award

Mangaluru: Sandhya S Pai, managing editor, Taranga Weekly was conferred the prestigious Dr. Kota Shivaram Karanth Huttoora Prashasti-2021 at a function here at Kalkura Prathistana.

Mangaluru University Vice-Chancellor PS Yadapadithaya presented the award to Dr. Sandhya S Pai.

Mangaluru City Corporation Mayor Premnath Shetty, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, and others were also present.

The award presentation coincided with the birth anniversary of Karanth.

The award is presented annually in memory of the late Jnanpith award winner Kota Shivaram Karanth.
